Prime Big Deal Days is coming October 6–7, and apparently Amazon has been paying attention to Buck and me. 😂
When I started looking through the early deals, Amazon was showing me dog travel bags, back-seat covers, harnesses, tents and camping gear. Apparently even Amazon knows we’re ready to hit the road.
Instead of sorting through hundreds of deals that have nothing to do with Kelly’s Roadside Gossip, I’m doing this the Roadside Gossip way. I’m watching for deals on things that could actually make traveling, camping and adventuring with your dog a little easier.
I’ll be updating this page as new deals appear, so check back as we get closer to October 6–7.

🐾 Buck’s Road Trip Picks
Traveling with a dog means bringing almost as much stuff for them as you bring for yourself. Food, water, bowls, leashes, treats and everything else somehow has to fit in the vehicle.
These are the dog-travel deals Buck and I are watching. If you’re getting ready to travel with your dog, check out Buck’s full road-trip packing list before you hit the road.
Dog Travel Bag for Road Trips
One thing I’ve learned traveling with Buck is that the dog apparently needs his own luggage. 😂 This travel bag gives you one place for food, treats, bowls and the other things your dog needs on the road. I especially like the idea of not having dog supplies scattered all over the vehicle.

Back-Seat Dog Cover
I probably need one of these more than I want to admit. Buck prefers riding up front where I can keep an eye on him, but a back-seat cover would definitely make life easier when he’s muddy after a hike—or when I finally convince him that the passenger seat isn’t actually his. 😂

No-Pull Dog Harness
If you’ve ever gone hiking with a dog who thinks he’s responsible for setting the pace, you understand why this caught my attention. 😂 Buck is a strong boy, and when he decides we’re going somewhere, apparently we’re going. A good harness is definitely on my list for making our walks and future adventures easier to manage.

🏕️ Camping & Road Trip Finds
You don’t have to own an RV to have an adventure, but whether you’re traveling by car, tent, camper or RV, the right gear can make the trip a whole lot easier. I’m watching Prime Big Deal Days for camping and road-trip finds that are useful, easy to pack, and won’t take up half the vehicle. And if an RV ends up in my future, I want gear that can make the move right along with me. 😂

A Tent for the Next Adventure
I keep thinking about getting out for an overnight camping trip again. There’s something about sitting outside as the sun goes down, sleeping under the stars, and waking up somewhere other than home that makes even a short trip feel like an adventure.
I’m watching the tent deals during Prime Big Deal Days to see if something practical comes along at a price that makes me want to pack the car and go.

Camping Cookware for Meals on the Road
Camp food doesn’t have to mean hot dogs every night—although I’m certainly not above a good hot dog over the fire. 😂 A compact cookware set caught my attention because it could work for tent camping now and still be useful in a camper or RV later.
If I’m going to start doing more overnight trips, having a simple way to cook breakfast, heat up soup, or make something warm at the end of a hiking day would definitely come in handy.

💙 Check Back for More Deals
Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, but early deals are already appearing. I’ll keep adding relevant finds as we get closer to the event.
I’m not trying to list everything Amazon puts on sale. I’m looking for things that fit what we actually talk about around here: dogs, road trips, camping and getting out there to see something new.
And considering Buck thinks every package that arrives at this house belongs to him anyway, I suppose he gets the final vote. 😂
